Certification Engineer – Raleigh/Durham, North Carolina

Position Overview:

The Certification Engineer manages and execute certification activities for cellular modules certifications/approvals with cellular operators.  Certification Engineer works with Telit’s design teams and Product Management team to make sure cellular modules they are technically supported through the carrier certification process.  Certification Engineer is technical expert on Telit’s product portfolio of embedded wireless modules and cellular operator requirements.

Telit is a manufacturer of cellular modules using 2G, 3G, 4G LTE, and 5G technologies.  Products include GE910, HE910, LE910, LM960, and FN980.

Major Duties and Responsibilities: 

The Certification Engineer will be responsible for taking Telit cellular modules through all stages of the carrier certification process including hardware, software, and field testing.  The specific responsibilities of the position will include, but not be limited to:

Certification Support:

  • Execute module certifications with carriers in USA with main focus on Verizon
  • Prepare required documents for certification process
  • Prepare certification samples with correct software/hardware configuration
  • Interface with carriers to drive the certification process
  • Drive completion of carrier certification at external labs
  • Travel to carrier test labs and external test labs as needed to achieve timely certification

Other:

  • Focus on and technical understanding carrier requirements
  • Interface with internal Product Management teams to feedback carrier requirements to achieve continuous improvement in product compliance.
  • Help to convey carrier roadmap needs to internal Product Management team.

Requirements:

Education:

  • Bachelor of Science in Engineering or equivalent education and work experience

Experience:

  • 5+ years experience working in cellular industry (ex. phones or m2m/IoT)
  • Experience working with cellular operators (ex. AT&T, Verizon, Sprint, T-mobile)
  • Experience working with cellular operators on certification of module, end product, or phone
  • Experience with regulatory (FCC) and industry (PTCRB) certifications

Technical Skills:

  • Knowledge of Cellular technologies (4G LTE, 5G, 3GPP)
  • Familiar with the carrier’s certification process. Knowledge of the AT&T process is a plus

Customer Service Coordinator – Durham, North Carolina

Position Summary

This Customer Service Coordinator works directly with customers to accept purchase orders and process accurately in our system(s).  Additionally, there is a high level of coordination with global operations on supply chain and logistics issues to ensure timely shipping of goods.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Reviews, validates and process purchase orders from customers and cross functional team requirements
  • Utilizes ERP system for order processing
  • Analyzes orders for supply chain routing and special operational requirements
  • Monitors delivery status against customer requirements
  • Prepare global shipping documents including customs paperwork and manage import/export issues.

Position Overview:

The sales executive position is responsible to support, acquire, and grow revenue through direct customers and channel partners.

The ideal candidate will have a good understanding of software and manufacturing and experience with industrial system integration. Good understanding of IT/OT integration, machine data collection and manufacturing management technologies such as OPC, MES, etc.

The position will develop relationships with other IoT sales divisions promoting software and services solutions to industrial customers and partners.

Responsibilities:

Field Applications Engineer/ Technical Support, Cellular IoT – Remote

Position Overview:

The Field Application Engineer (FAE) / Technical Support will provide comprehensive pre-sale and post-sale technical support for customer software design, circuit design and system development.  You will work closely with customers’ design teams, as well as their OEM end-customers, to make sure they are technically supported through the entire design process.  You will become a technical expert on Telit’s product portfolio of cellular modules.

Major Duties and Responsibilities:

The FAE will be responsible for providing technical support though all stages of the design process including hardware and software design as well as end product certification.  The specific responsibilities of the position will include, but not be limited to:

Customer Support:

  • Provide technical/design support for customers / integrators

Field Test Engineer – Raleigh/Durham, North Carolina

Position Overview:

The Field Test Engineer primary responsibility executing a series of tests on cellular modules both in the field on cellular operator networks and in the lab utilizing different test equipment to ensure products are tested thoroughly and free of defects. Field Test Engineer responsible to ensure the interoperability of Telit’s cellular modules with different networks, compliance with 3GPP specifications and operator requirements.

Telit is a manufacturer of cellular modules using 2G, 3G, 4G LTE, and 5G technologies.  Products include GE910, HE910, LE910, LM960, and FN980.

Major Duties and Responsibilities:

The Field test Engineer responsible for running field and lab tests, analyzing software and hardware issues for the purpose of compliance with 3GPP standards, operator requirements, predicting failures and product quality issues. Run benchmarking test with reference devices, collect and analyze logs. The candidate must be able to understand technical requirements and able to write test plans based on requirements or design documents.

The specific responsibilities of the position will include, but not be limited to:

Test Support:

  • Execute module certifications test with customers, operators and third-party vendors
  • Must be able to run mobility test, collect device logs, analyze results and document findings
  • Run performance stationary and mobility test such as call processing, data throughput, voice quality, RF performance and more
  • Troubleshoot complex cellular device and network logs and identify inconsistencies during test
  • Interface with carriers as needed to drive certification issues to completion
  • Travel to cellular operators and external test labs as needed to test and troubleshoot software and hardware issue
  • Work with development teams during the life cycle of the project to provide the required field and lab support needed to ensure product high quality standards
  • Monitor the performance of the project and report findings in a timely manner

NOC Support Technician – Mt. Prospect, Illinois

Position Overview:

The NOC Support Technician will be responsible for day-to-day monitoring of systems, applications, and the Customer Support center. This position provides Tier I support for all problems with wireless hardware, software and other computer related technology issues and inquiries. This position will review systems to collect information about problems and perform diagnostic procedures to determine the source of errors. This individual must be able to log and track calls using incident management software, maintain historical records and related problem documentation, and perform triage on all incoming requests to ensure that tickets are routed to the appropriate group for resolution. Daily activities will be driven primarily by recurring system health checks, responding to automated system alerts, and handling customer calls and emails.

Responsibilities:

  • Pro-actively act on events reported by various monitoring tools.
  • Perform initial troubleshooting and escalate internally and externally as required.
  • Generate, review and track trouble tickets.
  • Communicate directly with customers by email and telephone.

Regional Sales Director – Remote

Position Overview:

The Regional Sales Director (RSD) is responsible for the execution of our sales strategy in the assigned territory. The RSD will be responsible for all direct and indirect sales of Telit embedded cellular, short range, and positioning modules in the territory. The RSD will formulate and implement account strategies with our channel (distribution partners) to maximize sales results in the territory. General responsibilities include: leading our sales efforts in direct accounts, developing account plans and strategies for key accounts, supporting our channel partners’ sales efforts, prospecting new customers, qualifying leads and managing the territories overall performance.  The individual will establish and maintain key relationships with channel partners, direct and indirect customers, and other industry participants while working with our connectivity group to extend Telit’s services offerings. The individual we are seeking must have relevant M2M or semiconductor “design in” experience and extensive experience in complex sales with a variety of decision makers within the target account. The position reports to the regional Vice-President of Sales and will work closely with our Sales, Marketing, and Applications Engineering teams.

Major Duties & Responsibilities:

The RSD will be responsible for all sales opportunities in the territory.  The specific responsibilities of the position will include, but not be limited to:

Direct Sales:

  • Meet and exceed sales targets; achieve maximum sales by creating end-user demand for Telit’s products through direct and indirect sales activities.
  • Develop individual account plans and strategies for existing and new accounts that helps Telit to continue grow market share in the territory.
  • Establish business relationships with all levels of management and functions (Engineering, Product Management, Sales) within direct accounts.
  • Lead sales effort in later stage sales efforts through targeted customer visits to key decision makers, RFP response development, and the coordination of third-party solution providers.
  • Identify and address customer objections during sales process and work with other members of the team to overcome customer objections.

Account & Territory Management:

  • Effectively manage existing channel partner network to ensure that sales objectives and targets are consistently met or exceeded in the assigned territory through regular pipeline reviews and quarterly business reviews (QBRs).
  • Train channel partners in identifying, targeting, and developing sales strategies to effectively penetrate key accounts.
  • Ensure that area channel partners are properly supporting Telit’s end users/customers.  Validate through customer visits and strong customer relationships.
  • Communicate on a daily basis with prospects, customers and channel partners to maintain a high degree of ‘mindshare’ within the territory and to provide a high level of sales support.

Other:

  • Provide regular reports in a timely manner, including weekly activity report, monthly sales forecasts, visit reports, market maps and other reports as required by VP of Sales.
  • Leverage CRM system to manage all customer contact. Track and manage a qualified pipeline of leads, opportunities, and contacts using Company’s CRM tool.
  • Advise channel partners on market conditions and Telit’s competitors; gather market intelligence, product requirements and distribute within the Company.

Background & Experience:

The ideal candidate has worked in the M2M industry in some capacity, i.e. an MNO or MVNO in a M2M focused role or a semiconductor “design in” type of sales position.  Should be familiar with working with electronic component distributors and manufacturer’s representatives.  Candidate must be a go-getter who refuses to lose.

Minimum requirements include:

  • Bachelor’s degree (BA/BS) from four-year college or university.
  • 10+ years of sales experience in M2M, semiconductor, or other related field.

Position Overview:

Position Overview:

The Certification Test Engineer manages and executes certification activities for cellular IoT modules certifications/approvals with cellular operator: prepare technical documents, understand requirements, work with R&D to build a product compliant to specification, follow the device certification for the whole certification process.

Primary Objective:

Focus is on supply planning. This role is key in the communications between Sales/CS team, production ops and EMS partners. The role also manages demand and planning activities with related teams to fulfill customer demands, ensures on time delivery, works to improve delivery lead time and inventory turn-over rate.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Take charge of general/allocated company products planning, manage commitments.
